Measure Proximity

Definition of Profile: a) a side or sectional elevation: as 1: a drawing showing a vertical section of the ground 2: a vertical section of a soil from the ground surface to the underlying unweathered material. 3: a horizontal section of a line stretching from one side to another.

Profiling applications can range from rock face profiling to profiling the sag and tension of a power line. From a traffic engineering perspective, profiling vehicles may come to mind. Then there is the industrial market where profiling inventory along a conveyor belt is needed to ensure quality control.

Regardless of what your specific application is, LTI has a specific product or profiling package that can help capture the measurements you need.
