Measuring Clearance

Measure Clearance

Definition of Clearance: a) the distance by which one object clears another or the clear space between them.

Vegetation management is just one of thousands of applications that need to measure a clearance value.  You may need to know the clearance under a bridge or the distance between 2 remote points.

Either way, our TruPulse 360 has a built-in feature called "Missing Line," which calculates the distance, inclination and azimuth between any two remote features.

If you need a higher degree of accuracy, consider using our Laser Positioning System that includes either the MapStar Compass Module II or our MapStar Angle Encoder.
