Measuring Position

Measure Position

Definition of Position: a) the point or area occupied by a physical object. b.) a georefernced coordinate or location on earth.

By combining horizontal distance to an azimuth coordinate or a known reference point using a horizontal angle, LTI lasers can help provide you with precise positioning data.  When applicable, you can even integrate with GPS and remotely collect the location coordinates of another feature without ever having to occupy that point.
