TruCAM Overview
LTI has integrated a laser with a digital video camera, making the LTI 20-20 TruCAM the most sophisticated speed enforcement tool available today. It is the only all-in-one handheld laser-based video and photo camera on the market.
The TruCAM collects and stores a complete chain of video evidence for both speeding and tailgating, along with a high-resolution image that identifies vehicle make, model and license plate number and facial characteristics of the driver.
More than a speed enforcement laser and video camera; the data it produces can feed into any Geographic Information System (GIS) framework.
By utilizing GPS, it automatically generates location-based information every time the TruCAM is used. This provides managers with historical data to determine why, where, when and how to deploy valuable human and capital assets in the future.
LTI has patented technology that measures the time and distance between vehicles. TheTruCAM is able to acquire these critical measurements and back it up with video and photographic evidence. The TruCAM is capable of enforcing multiple speeds and even hard to get motorcycles.
It can defeat jam detectors and offers reliable data encryption that ensures your evidence is always secure.

Speed Mode
For speeds greater than or equal to a preset value, a video motion clip and a high resolution still image are automatically recorded and saved along with attribute data.
Auto Mode
This mode combines automated traffic enforcement with video and license plate number imaging. Use as a mobile deployment or a fixed installation system.
Rear Plate Mode
For motorcycles or other vehicles only displaying a rear license plate, you can measure the speed and maintain a chain of evidence until the rear license plate is captured.
Weather Mode
This mode enables you to enforce speeds in rain, snow and light fog.
Video Only Mode
Instantly capture video of violations, such as: blocking traffic, failure to wear a safety belt and misuse of HOV lanes.
Dual Speed Mode (Optional Upgrade)
This mode can automatically differentiate between cars and commercial trucks and apply the correct preset speed limit.
Distance Between Vehicles Mode (Optional Upgrade)
For "Following Too Closely" violations, this mode can measure the speed, traveling time and distance between two vehicles.

TruCAM Field Printing Software
LTI’s Field Printing Software Program compresses the file size of the TruCAM video footage and high-resolution image, allowing you to quickly send all necessary violation data to a field printer. All necessary data can be printed right in the field so you can attach the indisputable evidence along with your ticket. The original data stored on the TruCAM SD card is never compromised, so you can still use it for post-processing purposes.
