A laser sensor ideal for collision avoidance applications!
Wide Beam Sensor
Laser Technology's Wide Beam Sensor has been used for collision avoidance and proximity detection for years. It's ideal for applications limited to 4 to 20 mA output requirements and has a rugged design for adverse industrial conditions.
The Wide Beam Sensor also has redundant circuitry that actually eliminates false readings, so you can be confident all measurements are accurate and reliable. This sensor has been known to work well in extreme temperatures and continues to outperform other types of sensors.
