Annually, the Colorado-Wyoming Society of American Foresters, Colorado Timber Industry Association, and Colorado Tree Farmers gather for a joint meeting. The 2015 theme this year is "Partners Working for Thriving Forests," and will be held May 7-9. The first two days of the meeting will take place at the historic Hotel Colorado in downtown Glenwood Springs, CO, with the third day held at the Gypsum Biomass Power Plant located in nearby Gypsum, Colorado.
Laser Technology, Inc., (LTI) will be attending the meeting along with other forest product manufacturers, professionals, elected officials, retailers, guides, researchers, agency officials, professors and students from the Colorado-Wyoming area. LTI will be also be exhibiting our laser-based forestry measurement solutions including those for taking inventory of whole logs, measuring the volume of a chip or biomass piles, and timber cruising, including tree heights and diameter measurements.
In addition to showcasing products, LTI's Solutions Product Manager Kassie Carley will be participating in a panel discussion titled: "Resources for Landowners, Businesses, Industry and Foresters." Kassie will focus on explaining how to improve your grant writing success during the panel, followed by a question and answer section. For those who cannot attend the joint meeting, LTI is hosting a Forestry and Natural Resources Funding Opportunities webinar on Thursday, May 14, 2015 10:00 AM MDT. Learn more here.
