Montenegro Police Department Acquire TruCAM Laser Speed Guns

Laser Technology (LTI) dealer, SKY Technologies doo, delivered 14 TruCAM laser speed guns to the Montenegro Police Department at the end of 2013 as part of a campaign to help officers better enforce the speed limit on the roads and increase traffic safety in their country. This campaign came about after a realization that a majority of the traffic accidents and deaths on the roads were due to speeding and that assistance was needed to enhance the control of the police officers out in the field. Using the TruCAM will help law enforcement provide safer roads and save lives in Montenegro.

Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol made a statement to drivers with a high visibility, collaborative crackdown on Interstate 75 during the last weekend of February, 2014. I-75 is a major north-south US traffic corridor that travels through 6 different US states. Using LTI 20/20 UltraLyte laser speed guns, troopers sought violators including impaired drivers, aggressive drivers, and those ignoring seatbelt laws.More...

The Meridian, Mississippi Police Department recently contacted Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI) for a better solution for speed enforcement. The radar units that were currently being used in the department were not providing them with all the functionality needed to catch speeding violators on their highways. It was explained to LTI that officers were experiencing problems getting a fix on a single vehicle during heavy traffic hours in the morning and afternoon. Bryan Willis, Sales Rep for Laser Technology, offered them the perfect solution -- the TruSpeed laser speed gun.

A demonstration and training of the TruSpeed was held where officers tracked the speed of vehicles on a bridge overpass overlooking a 60 MPH section of I-20. More...
