The Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Department just got a little help in enforcing the speed limit with the presentation of two TruCAM laser speed guns from the National Road Safety Commission (NRSC). The TruCAM can not only measure speed but also can capture pictures of the offending driver and vehicle, including the location, license plate and time.

The MTTD were also presented with six alco metres to help with the regulation of drunk-driving in their country.

In the article by the Daily Graphic, The Director General of the MTTD, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mr Angwubotuge Awuni, "promised that with the acquisition of the equipment, the police would vigorously enforce safety regulations on the roads."

The TruCAM is truly a one-of-a-kind speed enforcement tool. Read more information on the TruCAM laser speed gun.
