2014 National Law Enforcement Challenge Deadline Extended

by admin 1. May 2014 14:01

The deadline for the 2014 National Law Enforcement Challenge (NLEC) has been extended until May 9, 2014. So if you have not submitted your application, there is still time!

The NLEC is a national traffic safety awards program that recognizes law enforcement traffic safety programs and gives law enforcement agencies the chance to make a difference in their communities. LTI and the IACP encourage agencies to participate and be recognized for their traffic safety efforts.

In preparation for applying for the NLEC, Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI) and IACP's NLEC organization co-hosted a three-part webinar series on the Challenge. The webinars highlighted key factors, reviewed helpful tips on how to prepare and submit the online application, and discussed best practices as well as the intangible benefits of participating in the Challenge.

These series help to explain the newer guidelines and provide other useful advice to help you make a difference when submitting your application for the Challenge.

If you missed the LTI's NLEC webinars you can watch the recordings by visiting:
