Crash Zone with LTI Basic 40-Hour Course

DESCRIPTION: This course is geared towards accident and crime scene investigators that produce diagrams from measurements obtained in the field by hand or total station.

The equipment covered will be the Crash Zone diagramming software, LTI Mapstar Angle Encoder with the TDS Recon data collector with Pocket Zone software. This is a hands on course involving both classroom and field work. At the end of this course, you will be able to complete an accurate, detailed diagram of an accident / crime scene using the equipment.

REQUIREMENTS: A laptop computer is required for this course. *Operating system must be at least the following: Windows XP, 2000, or 98 SE. Pentium III or higher recommended. 32MB of memory, 64 MB recommended. 500 megs of free hard drive space.

*The CAD Zone evaluation software (Pocket Zone and Crash Zone) can be provided if needed. Traffic Safety Vest / Jacket is required.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT: The LTI Mapstar angle encoder system and full access of the Crash Zone / Pocket Zone software is recommended but not required.

COSTS: The cost of this course is $399 per person. Check or Purchase Order will be accepted.
