 Description: This
class will cover basic to advanced topics on CrashZone and PocketZone.
Each Student will be given a CD with all the training materials covered
during this course. Students will learn all the necessary drawing techniques
to complete scaled diagrams using measurements gathered with various
methods including the LTI laser mapping system.
Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops. A limited number
of laptops will be available for use by students who do not have one
but must be requested at the time of registration. Demo software can
be loaded onto your laptop to use during the class if you do not own
the CrashZone or CrimeZone program. You can also purchase software at
the training and receive a student discount.

 Instructor: The Instructor
will be George Maglaras of the San Diego Police Department. George has
been with the San Diego Police Dept since 1983and currently assigned
to Traffic Division. He has worked at this station since 1994 and investigated
several thousand collisionssince being assigned to Traffic Division.
George is a Master Instructor with CADZone and has received approximately
100 hours of formal training with CrashZone and PocketZone. He has used
CrashZone exclusively since 2002 and been successful in prosecutions
in both Misdemeanor and Felony trails and testified as a Court Expert
in Collision Investigation. He was an instructor of collision investigation
at their police academyand has trained their entire Traffic Division
in the use of laser mapping with PocketZone and CrashZone. George also
teachesthe use of LTI Laser Mapping with PocketZone and CrashZone for
Laser technology Inc. and trained officers in California, Nevada and
Arizona
Costs: $495.00
if pre-paid prior to October 1st 2006. $545.00 if paid before October
