SETUP
-----

1. Enter Configuration Menu
2. Page down until Hidden Point is offered and select it.

OR...

1. From any screen, press CONFIG key
2. Select Interfaces, then Hidden Point and press EDIT

THEN...

3. Choose YES for Use Device?
4. Select Serial Port 2
5. F5 - Device: Choose Criterion 400 (same for Impulse/MapStar) or
Criterion compatible (for Cr300 & GeoLaser)
6. Offset (optional) = horizontal distance from antenna to laser.

DATA COLLECTION

System 500 (survey grade)

1. F5 - Add: Choose Hidden Point
2. Choose Method: Bearing + Distance (dump azimuth from MapStar CM
or derive with GPS) or Distance + Distance (Impulse or Criterion
laser only)
3. Take the shot and send to data collector. Fields will fill in
automatically. Enter Azimuth manually if necessary.

GS50 (resource grade, must have real time correction)

1. F4 - Offset: Choose method as above (2).

2. Store laser shot as above (3).
