USING THE CRITERION 300/400 DOWNLOAD UTILITY DNLOAD.EXE (400) and 3DNLOAD.EXE (300) 1. Copy DNLOAD.EXE to the directory C:\LTI and create a sub-directory called C:\LTI\DATA. 2. Execute "DNLOAD". 3. Specify which Com port is to be used: 1 or 2. 4. Use F3 to set the root file name. This will create files within the C:\LTI\DATA directory with the root name and an extension of ".sxx", where "xx" is the survey number: 1-20. Make sure you don't have duplicate Unit numbers on any of your Surveys - edit them to unique numbers if you do. 5. Link the Criterion to the Com port specified via the battery and download cable. 6. Power up the Criterion and hit F1 (It is not necessary to be in Unit Survey, just don't have the cursor active). Both the PC screen and the Criterion display should read "DOWNLOADING" while the process is taking place. When finished, the PC should display "DOWNLOAD COMPLETE" and the function keys will re-activate. The Criterion display will revert back to where it was prior to downloading. 7. Hit F4 to exit to DOS, where you can then view and/or manipulate the ASCII files created.
