Laser Technology, Inc. Announces the Newly Enhanced
TruPulse 360R Laser Rangefinder with TruVector Compass Technology

CENTENNIAL, Colorado – October 19, 2018 – Laser Technology Inc. (LTI), the world's leading designer and manufacturer of professional-grade laser rangefinders, is pleased to announce the release of the all new and improved TruPulse® 360R laser. This model is part of LTI's TruPulse 360 Series, the most advanced handheld lasers on the market, and features LTI's exclusive TruVector 360° Compass Technology®.

LTI's mission and commitment to provide cutting-edge laser measurement solutions has yet again been exhibited with the enhancements of this latest version of the TruPulse 360R. More than a decade in the making, this 360R is better than ever, offering 33 percent increased distance accuracy, 25 percent better target acquisition and a higher azimuth accuracy of less than 0.5° RMS. With an even more accurate electronic compass integrated right into the laser, the rugged reliability of the 360R lets you use the instrument in harsher climates and in other difficult environmental conditions. It continues to deliver added value for the modern measurement professional, from forestry and utilities to construction and GIS mapping.

No matter what angle is needed, LTI's TruVector 360° Compass Technology will allow measurement professionals mapping grade precision - and the best possible azimuth accuracy - all due to the combination of an integrated compass, inclinometer and distance laser. This groundbreaking compass technology, along with the various measurement capabilities, is right there at the push of a button - measure slope distance, inclination and azimuth, and instantly calculate horizontal and vertical distances as well as 3D missing line values.

"The 360R is the ruggedized version of the TruPulse 360, offering our end users the utmost in flexibility in obtaining measurements they need in difficult or challenging outdoor conditions," said Eric Miller, president of LTI. "Data collection is quicker, easier and safer as the flexibility of this laser enables users to record offsets and attribute data of multiple features all from one single position."

In addition to its increased range and azimuth accuracy and Bluetooth-enabled communication, the TruPulse 360R features:

  • Reflectorless technology that enables data capture to any surface type
  • Advanced targeting modes to achieve accurate, repeatable results of the intended target
  • 7-power superior optics technology that displays all your measured and calculated solutions
  • Smart technology that recognizes adverse measurement conditions and prompts recalibration

"The integration of LTI's exclusive compass technology and our continued commitment to making user-driven enhancements to our lasers, no other laser on the market can match the performance of the TruPulse 360R," Miller added. "The TruPulse 360R stands on its own as the best ruggedized measurement and mapping laser rangefinder out there."
