The game of golf, played for hundreds of years now, has accumulated quite a following of sports fans who enjoy watching the contest. The sophistication of the technology used to bring the sport to the masses through television is nothing short of amazing. Video cameras positioned in a blimp far overhead, attached to drones hovering over points of interest, on top of cranes extending the view, and even motion-stabilized, shoulder-mounted units traveling around with the participants, all provide an endless array of angles and perspectives to the game for the eager viewer.

Seiler Instruments: The Pioneer of Surveying Equipment

by TNyland 31. October 2018 09:38

Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI), Premier Authorized Dealer, Seiler Instruments, has been an innovator in surveying equipment for over seventy years. Seiler Instruments' excellence in producing quality products and maintaining customer-facing solutions to deliver satisfying experiences, has made Seiler Geospatial Division one of the largest suppliers of brand name surveying and supply equipment in the Midwest!

Seiler Instruments started out like any great immigration story. Leaving his German homeland, Eric H. Seiler made the decision to uproot his life and move to a then foreign land, only bringing with him a few necessities and his expertise and love for machining and instrument making.

Throughout the years, Eric H. Seiler had to evolve in an ever-changing market where his manually operated products were now being replaced by machines. This caused Seiler to start diversifying his portfolio and expanded his empire to five divisions: Seiler Geospatial, Seiler Design Solutions, Seiler Manufacturing, Seiler Medical and Seiler Planetarium.

Seiler's appreciation for superiority in craftmanship and his customer facing approach throughout the years established the company’s philosophical foundation of quality and customer service. Even proceeding Eric H. Seiler's death in 1981, this philosophy has remained the driving force of this family-owned company.
