There has been over $420,000 in speeding tickets issued as of January 4th, since the speed limit has been changed, reports The Caribbean Communications Network Limited - CCNTV of Trinidad and Tobago. These tickets were only issued the first three days of the 2018 year and the police are urging their drivers to slow down and obey the speed limit. Speeding has been a long-time issue on this island's roadways and law enforcement have been working these past few years trying very hard to reduce traffic fatalities. Over 55% of traffic fatalities in 2016 were reported to be as a result of speeding. Dane County Sheriff’s Deputy Todd Huppert does his best to keep vehicles under the speed limit in Dane County. Huppert noticed cars going a bit too fast in a small, family suburb in Madison, WI and he went to monitor traffic in the area to keep it safe for those spending time outside.

Trinidad and Tobago are continuing to significantly reduce fatal road accidents with help from the Laser Technology's (LTI) TruCAM laser speed gun.

In just two, short months of using the TruCAM the Trinidad and Tobago police force have seen a significant decline in speeding throughout the country. Trinidad and Tobago Crack Down on Speeders with the LTI TruCAM

The LTI 20/20 TruCAM video laser speed device has been the talk of the town on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. Within the past few weeks, officials have purchased numerous TruCAMs from LTI's authorized dealer L & W Engineering, in hopes of decreasing reckless driving and traffic accidents on their highways.

Approval was granted on April 29th, 2016 by the Honorable Mr. Fitzgerald Hinds, the Minister of Works and Transport, for the official use of a video laser speed device designed to capture and record motorists’ speed. According to Mr. Hinds, 55% of fatalities on Trinidad and Tobago's roadways are a result of speeding. The goal of the TruCAM implementation aims to decrease this number by keeping drivers within the 80 KPH speed limits on highways and 50 KPH on the island's main roads. More...

The Ultimate Distracted Driving and Speed Enforcement Laser - LTI's TruCAM

The Castle Rock Police Department has joined in the crack down on speeders, distracted drivers and other violators with other law enforcement agencies in the Denver Metro area. A new speed enforcement tool, called the TruCAM, has been added to their inventory that helps officers see what is happening behind the wheel of violator's car.

LTI's TruCAM is an all-in-one handheld laser-based video and photo camera. The TruCAM allows officers to capture the violations on camera and replay the violations right there on the spot.
