Pasadena Police Motorcycle Training and Skills Competition 2014

The newly designed obstacles courses at the Pasadena Police Motorcycle Training and Skills Competition is one of the good reasons to attend the event but there is so much more! Held June 4-5 at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, the competition has raffles, exhibitors, a multitude of riding competitions and events that will show off skills of the riders.

Stop by Laser Technology's (LTI) booth so we can give you a practical demonstration on such traffic safety products as the TruSpeed laser speed gun series and LaserSoft SpeedCapture App.

Last year was first year for the conference which focuses on the issue of impaired driving and had over 200 law enforcement professionals in attendance. To help continue awareness for the fight against distracted driving, Laser Technology, Inc., (LTI) and the National Sheriffs Association (NSA) are teaming up to host a webinar titled "Combating Distracted Driving: Implementing Policies and Procedures." The webcast is geared to Sheriff Offices, encouraging them to launch or intensify distracted driving enforcement to help reduce the amount of fatal crashes. According to the National Occupant Protection Use Survey, it is estimated that 660,000 drivers are using cell phones or manipulating electronic devices while driving. More...
