Laser Technology Co-Hosting IACP's National Law Enforcement Challenge Quick-Start Guide Webinar

For the second year in a row, Laser Technology, Inc., (LTI) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police's (IACP) National Law Enforcement Challenge (NLEC) traffic safety recognition program are joining forces to co-host an informative webinar about the 2015 National Challenge.

2015 National Law Enforcement Challenge Quick-Start Guide
Recorded January 20, 2015 at 9:30 AM (MST)

The NLEC is a friendly competition between agencies across the country where applicants showcase enforcement efforts in the areas of speed awareness, impaired driving, occupant protection (seatbelt use) and a category chosen by the agency applying. To learn more about how this program positively impacts the agencies who participate, watch this recap video from the 2014 NLEC breakfast ceremony.

The Challenge provides recognition for hardworking agencies that are making steps to save more lives on our roadways. The NLEC also provides a model on how to improve current traffic safety programs and focuses on problem areas that have more impact in communities with traffic enforcement. The 2015 application process has been modified, making it much easier to submit for the Challenge. These details, in addition to tips to make your application stand out, will be covered during the webinar.

LTI is committed to improving traffic safety by providing cutting edge technology that enforces a wide variety of violations with courtroom-ready evidence. To help increase awareness of the NLEC and provide additional incentive for new and veteran applicants in 2015, LTI is holding a drawing for an LTI 20/20 TruCAM. The TruCAM is a sophisticated laser speed enforcement tool with a video and photo camera with features including tamper-proof data encryption, multiple operation modes, anti-laser jammer, and encrypted storage of recorded violations.

In order to be entered into the drawing, the agency must attend the quick-start webinar on January 20, 2015, and apply for the 2015 NLEC by the May 1, 2015, deadline.
